Public Notice
The Municipality of the County of Richmond would like to acknowledge the unfortunate events that occurred during our recent municipal election, impacting some of our community members. These incidents have highlighted the challenges that still exist in our voting process, and we want to assure everyone that we take this matter very seriously.
Our commitment to inclusivity and accessibility is paramount, and we recognize that despite the progress we have made, there is still much work to be done. We are dedicated to supporting those affected and raising awareness through our Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility Committee, which will continue to advocate for improvements.
We extend our sincere apologies to everyone impacted by this situation. Please, rest assured that we are actively collaborating with our staff to address the issues at hand and implement measures that ensure this does not happen again. Our goal is to foster an inclusive community for all residents, regardless of ability, period.
