Telile Community Television
For more than 30 years, Telile Community Television has played an essential role in the life of Richmond County. As one of only nine independent, not-for-profit over-the-air television stations in Canada, Telile is a unique and invaluable community resource.
Throughout its history, the station has captured and celebrated the spirit of Richmond County by showcasing its people, music, traditions, and cultural events. The L'Ardoise Jolly Club
The Jolly Club of L’Ardoise has long been a cornerstone of community life, enriching the lives of seniors through the dedication, hard work, and commitment of its volunteer members.
Most recently, the Jolly Club successfully organized and delivered a highly popular take-away Fish Cake and Bean fundraiser. What made this event especially remarkable was the overwhelming support it received from community members, highlighting the strong connections and goodwill the organization has fostered over the years.
The strength of the Jolly Club lies in its spirit of collaboration and volunteerism. Time and again, members come together to support one another, organizing events and initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for seniors while strengthening community bonds. Their collective efforts reflect the organization’s mission of promoting engagement, inclusion, and active community participation, ensuring that rural seniors have access to valuable social and recreational opportunities.
