- Details
Family Stick and Puck Program
Richmond Recreation is increasing opportunities for you and your family to visit the Richmond Arena during the 2024/2025 ice season. With engagement from both staff and residents of Richmond County we are happy to offer Family Stick and Puck Passes.
Family Stick and Puck provides an upbeat environment for families to improve skating, stick handling, puck control, passing and other related on ice skills. Unlike a traditional hockey game or practice, Family Stick and Puck is an informal session with no goalies, slapshots and zero contact.
The following rules are part of the Family Stick and Puck pass agreement.
- Full hockey gear & CSA approved helmet is mandatory for all youth. CSA approved helmets and hockey gloves are mandatory for passholder.
- Children 17 years of age and under must be accompanied by the passholder (a parent/guardian) on the ice.
- Participants are required to bring their own hockey sticks and puck.
- The cost to participate is $10 per family.
- Payment can be made online prior to the skate; proof of purchase is required prior to stepping on the ice.
- Payment can also be made by visiting an arena attendant at the time of the scheduled skate.
- Please refer to the online arena booking schedule by visiting www.rectimes.com/richmondarena to confirm dates and times as they are subject to change.
We encourage feedback and suggestions on how we can improve access and increase physical activity opportunities to the residents of Richmond County through the online comment section that can be found when visiting www.richmondcounty.ca or by phoning 902.226.0664.
