Please be advised that the Richmond Solid Waste Management Facility (634 Highway 206, West Arichat) is now an EPRA-approved drop-off location for your end-of-life electronics.
Facility hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm (closed on all civic holidays).
For a list of electronics accepted please go to Electronics Recycling For Businesses. Please note that the Richmond Solid Waste Management Facility does not accept waste from outside of Richmond County.
The Bottle Depots located in Richmond County will no longer be accepting electronics.

The Municipality has become aware of residents outside of Richmond County seeking to dispose of waste at the Richmond Solid Waste Management Facility. Please be advised that pursuant to Richmond County By-Law 17, the Richmond Solid Waste Management Facility does not accept waste generated outside of Richmond County. In accordance with By-Law 17, any person who commits an offence under By-Law 17 is punishable on summary conviction by a fine of not less than $100 and not more than $1,000, and to imprisonment of not more than 90 days in default of payment thereof.
Residents outside of Richmond County are urged to contact their local Town or Municipal officials with any questions or concerns they have related to solid waste disposal.
