Nova Scotia Medal of Bravery - Call for nominations

Each year, the office of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice awards the Nova Scotia Medal of Bravery, the highest recognition for bravery, to select Nova Scotians who have shown tremendous selflessness and courage. If you know someone in your community who has gone above and beyond to save another person or protect property, now is the time for nominations. Examples of past recipients can be found at: https://novascotia.ca/bravery/awards.asp
The nomination form and supporting information are available at the following website, https://novascotia.ca/bravery/forms.asp, with a deadline for nominations of May 1, 2025.

Zone 3 curbside collection for Good Friday, April 18, for the areas of Black River Rd., Oban, Seaview, Thibeauville, West Bay, and along the Bras d'Or Lake to St. Peter's, will be rescheduled for Saturday, April 19.
