Celebrating VON Week, May 18 - 24th, 2025
The Municipality of the County of Richmond wishes to invite members of the public to the Victoria Order of Nurses (VON) Week Proclamation and Flag Raising ceremony, which will be held on Tuesday, May 20th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Municipal Administration Building, 2357 Hwy 206, Arichat, NS.
Every year, VON Canada marks a special week to thank the dedicated staff and volunteers, and celebrate the caring home and community support they deliver. This year's theme, At the Heart of Care, recognizes that it’s the people who make VON special. VON staff and volunteers put their whole hearts into providing life-changing care to clients. VON is also at the heart of the healthcare system, bringing people the support they need and want – at home and in the community – so they can live healthier, happier lives, surrounded by loved ones.
