SHOW-AND-TELL WITH GREG DAVIES
Theme: Curating and Planning an Exhibit

Greg Davies, curator of the Cape Breton University (CBU) Art Gallery in Sydney, is returning for a show-and-tell with the Richmond Artists Alliance (RAA). He will talk about the artwork you bring and explain what goes into curating and planning an exhibit.

The theme is no accident. Greg has invited RAA members to put on an exhibit at the CBU Art Gallery, opening in late January 2027. Any member can participate. The exhibit is open to any subject and is not juried. As with the gallery's Proletariart exhibit, held every other year, artists can enter a recent or new piece. This is a great opportunity that will help put us on the map!

The other details are not set yet, and we expect to know more by November 7. You do not have to attend the show-and-tell to be in the exhibit, and the piece you bring that day does not have to be the one you exhibit. You are also welcome to come if you just want to learn more about how galleries are run.
