Saturday, June 6, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM — Nature and Art in D’Escousse
Richmond Artist Alliance is hosting this free workshop as part of Cape Breton Craft Week!
Elaine Mandrona leads this outdoor workshop for children ages 6–12. Space is limited to 12 participants — registration is required. Starting with a guided nature walk on the hall property to collect leaves, stones, bark, seed pods, and whatever else the landscape offers , then coming back inside to turn those finds into art through nature printing, collage, and simple assemblage. Every child leaves with a piece they made themselves.
Elaine has led nature and garden art workshops with kids in Cape Breton and Moncton, most recently at Richmond River Roots last year. Email Elaine at to sign up
