PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of the Municipality of the County of Richmond intends to consider and, if deemed advisable, approve the following amendments:
- Amendments to the Richmond County Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law Addressing the Development of Wind Energy to allow the creation of the Utility Scale Wind Development (WD-2) Zone which permits Utility Scale Wind Turbines as of right subject to special requirements and the rezoning map shown in Schedule A
The purpose of all three amendments is to reflect the existing ownership and/or use of these properties.
Copies of the Staff Reports can be inspected at The Municipal Office, the Eastern District Planning Commission office (606 Reeves Street, Unit 3, Port Hawkesbury) between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30p.m. weekdays (excluding holidays) or on the Eastern District Planning Commission website www.edpc.ca.

Written or oral presentations (for or against the proposed) can be made before Municipal Council at a Public Hearing to be held: Monday September 25th, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.
