
NOTICE OF ADOPTION
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT on June 24, 2025, the Council of the Municipality of the County of Richmond approved the following amendments, which are in effect as of the date of this publication:
- Concurrent amendments to the Isle Madame Plan Area Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law to remove the requirement that a lot be subdividable in order to permit the construction of two dwellings on a single lot,
- Concurrent amendments to the Richmond County Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law addressing Wind Turbine Setbacks, to align with the recently introduced provincial regulations concerning wind turbine setbacks,
- Amendments to the West Richmond Plan Area Land Use By-law addressing Wind Turbine Setbacks, to align with the recently introduced provincial regulations concerning wind turbine setbacks
