Richmond County Municipal Council has recently amended and adopted the following:
- Amended to align the policy name with the applicable year. The Waterfront Development Grant, Tier 3, has been updated to support eligible applications for projects that are similar in nature to those eligible under the Canada Community-Building Fund.
- The policy was reviewed with input from the Volunteer Fire Departments and amended by Council. The policy applies to dry fire hydrants installed after January 1, 2024.
- Amended to resolve a policy conflict regarding the timing for publication of agendas and meeting packages, changing the requirement from two business days to two days prior to a meeting.

The Road Name Change Policy has been repealed as it is no longer compliant. Development of a new Road Name Change Policy has been added to the By Law and Policy Committee working list.
