Notice of Public Hearing

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of the Municipality of the County of Richmond intends to consider and, if deemed advisable, adopt the following planning documents:

1. Municipality of the County of Richmond Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-Law in accordance with Bill 58 of the Municipal Government Act

Copies of the Staff Report can be inspected at:

• The Municipal Office
• The Eastern District Planning Commission office (606 Reeves Street, Unit 3, Port Hawkesbury) between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30p.m. weekdays (excluding holidays)
• The Eastern District Planning Commission website edpc.ca and the Plan Eastern Nova Website

Written or oral presentations (for or against the proposed) can be made before Municipal Council at a Public Hearing to be held: Thursday December 14^th, 2023 6:00 p.m - 7:00 p.m. Council Chambers 2357 Highway 206, Arichat, Richmond County. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Posted November 29^th and December 6^th, 2023 in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Government Act.
