Richmond Arena is the only recreation facility and community hub owned by the Municipality of the County of Richmond. Partnering with us provides meaningful community exposure while supporting recreation programs that serve residents and visitors across Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, and the Maritime Provinces.
The Municipality of the County of Richmond’s Recreation Department offers public skates, senior skates, after-school
skates, parent/tot skates, birthday parties and much more during the winter season (which runs from October to April). Once the ice season has ended, the Recreation Department will explore various recreation opportunities to be held in the Spring and/or Summer such as ball hockey, dry-land training, etc.
