Multi-Use Facility Feasibility Study
The Municipality of the County of Richmond (MOCR) is completing a feasibility study (the ‘Study’) for a new Multi-Use Facility. A feasibility study is undertaken to determine the anticipated level of service needs and associated costs as they relate to a potential new multi-use facility. The Study is a key document to guide MOCR through the decision to develop a new Multi-Use facility.
This Study includes two (2) phases with a series of subtasks:
(1) Phase 1: Preliminary Review and Proposed Needs
(2) Concept Design and Costing

Active Living and Recreation Plan
Richmond County approved the Active Living Strategy/Recreation Plan at the September 25, 2023 Council Meeting.
The primary goal of this Active Living Strategy and Recreation Plan is to assess the state of active living and recreation within the Municipality of the County of Richmond and to plan a future for recreation services, facilities, programs, and building a culture of active living that reflects the values and needs of the community.
The Active Living Strategy and Recreation Plan for the Municipality of the County of Richmond will serve as a multi-year vision, providing a framework to identify, rationalize, and manage the provision of recreation programs, infrastructure, and resources over the next ten years.

Richmond Recreation Online Program Registration
Richmond Recreation has launched an online registration and payment system for recreation programming (including drop-in classes). Recreation staff are available to assist all participants with the registration process if required. We encourage participants to reach out for support and assistance with this process.
