February is African Heritage Month
This year's theme is "Strength in Unity: Moving Forward with Purpose, Prosperity, Power and Progress." The theme highlights the strength created when people work together, the focus that shared purpose provides, and the commitment needed to support long-term prosperity and progress.
African Heritage Month recognizes more than 400 years of African presence in Nova Scotia. The month includes events that educate, inspire, and build community across the province.
