Jack Ouellette has been a volunteer with the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society since it was established in 1994. Jack prepared the by-laws for the Society, prepared documents and lobbied various levels of government to obtain funding for palliative care in the Strait Richmond area. Jack served as president of the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society for a number of years, he volunteered many hours with end-of-life patients and their families, he was one of the founders of the Chamber of Commerce in Richmond County, he was a lecturer for the church for many years and he volunteered his time to teach young students the art of pottery at a local school.
We want to thank Jack for his important work in his community and the entire county!
As Volunteer of the Month, Jack received a plaque and $150 of gift cards to local businesses of his choosing.
