Q. What is the registration procedure for programs? A. The method for registration is to phone the Recreation office to register your name and contact number. Registrations are on a first come/first serve basis and the Department asks all registrants to call if they have to cancel their registration place, in the event that there is a waiting list for a program.
Q. What are my payment options when registering for Recreation programs? A. On site your options are cash or cheque. You may also pay for your program by debit at the Municipal Tax office.
Q. Is HST included in the registration fee? A. We do not charge HST on registration fees.
Q. If I am not satisfied with a program or have to withdraw will I be refunded or given a credit? A. Yes, the Recreation Department will issue a refund in the form of a cheque. Refund cheques are processed and mailed within 2- 4 weeks.
Q. How are we informed when Recreation programs are cancelled? A. When Recreation programs are cancelled for any reason we will make an attempt to contact you as well as air the cancellation on 1015thehawk website under cancellations.
Q. When local schools are cancelled for inservice or inclement weather are Recreation programs automatically cancelled? A. Yes, and also aired on the cancellation list on 1015thehawk.com website
